Art Exhibition at Queensland State Library -Creative Conversations

'Creative Conversations' is a collective of artists with a refugee or asylum seeker background that I have become involved with since returning to Australia. The whole 'CC' concept was developed from an idea that Cindy Beumer had a couple of years ago which has now become a nine day art exhibition from Saturday 3rd November . The exhibition will feature twenty amazing artists from a diverse range of cultural experiences using many different mediums and including short films on each artist.

The exhibition opens at the State Library at Southbank Brisbane on 3rd November at 3.00 pm. As well as viewing some interesting artwork you will have the opportunity to meet the artists, enjoy some fine food and drinks and listen to the very talented, Brisbane based ensemble, 'The Scattered People Choir', performing some of he new material. On Sunday afternoon the 4th November, there is the opportunity to meet personally with the artists. The exhibition then continues daily until November 12. All are welcome and please bring some friends.
