Life Bubbles - The new designer eco-lifestyle paradigm

In the last few weeks I have had the opportunity to spend some time with a very humble, creative genius by the name of Dean Cameron.

Sitting inside the giant bubble that Dean calls home on the outskirts of Maleny on the Sunshine Coast hinterland, I was overwhelmed with the possibilities of it applications, especially in light of my own personal plight in regards to where and how I may be able to afford to live in the next few months.

Dean has been comfortably living the life in a controlled micro-climate where temperatures drift casually between 20-27 degrees celsius for the last two years. In his solar-powered, man (woman, child) cave with all the Apple connections to the world that he needs for survival, he has been able to experiment and map out how he might choose to live much like Henry David Thoreau did in his Walden adventure, content to apply the ideas from his mind to his local world and its global positioning.

From a bubble enclosed, bare piece of land, Dean has added the necessities for his daily living, one path and tree at a time to the point where our shared lunch is brought to the table in a matter of minutes, straight from the source, no middle man, no taxes, nothing but a labour of love.

Over lunch I am reminded of those old Johnny Weismuller, Tarzan movies where Tarzan would wake up in the morning, grab a vine, swing out and pick some fruit and bring it back to Jane to whip up a fabulous breakfast. But here in the bubble you don't need a vine nor a Jane, not that it wouldn't be nice to have someone to make the fruit salad while the elders of the bubble got on with more important business at hand (now that's a joke Jane).

Life bubbles (or 'Love' bubbles as my business partner Luciano calls them) can be adapted to suit any economy or location, from a desert to a glacier. If you are interested, log into the life bubble site below and contact Dean today. Being a practicing idealist, he will only be too gracious to share his dream with you.
