Maroochy River at Sunset

The view of the Pacific Ocean from where we live
Today the sun finally came out and painted the world around us in crystals of green and blue. After another day of redecorating our home, I took a leisurely run through the rural landscape that surrounds where we live then Jo and I headed down to the coast for a walk along the Maroochy River at sunset.
The Maroochy River
On perfect afternoons like today, the Maroochy is such a peaceful place to watch the sun hide behind the Blackall Range. People walking and jogging the pathways. Trees teeming with Rainbow Lorikeets. Boats on the water. And pelicans fishing in the afterglow of winter's demonstration, leaving me rejuvenated to pick up a paintbrush again tomorrow.
