With one giant step from Maleny to Lausanne on the Lake Geneva shoreline, my view of life was changed forever.
Most of the important lessons that I learned came via my asylum seeker family at EVAM Crissier.
Now, sitting back in the land of plenty, it is time to put into practice what I have learned.
Pully; In the land of the ice and snow
After what feels like an endless summer (my fantasy) of freezing conditions (my reality), the North Pole wind wizard (The Bise wind), has turned tail for home. Last week I took my camera for a walk to Lutry in icy sunshine looking for remnants. And yesterday the Canon followed me around the snow-littered streets of old town Pully in what was supposed to be +8 degrees.
Here's a bit of old school metal live from the SCG (Australia) in 1972. I'm sure the Zeps must have been living in Pully when they wrote this.... 'I come from the land of the ice and snow..'
